Introduction
The iBase IB780 CPU card is a high-performance flexible CPU card based on the VIA Apollo PLE 133T chipset. The VIA Apollo PLE 133T chipset is based on an innovative and scaleable architecture with proven reliability.
It is a two-chip set consisting of the VT8601T North Bridge Controller and VT82C686B South Bridge Controller. The CPU card supports 66/100/133MHz system bus, up 1.2GHz CPU
speed, the VT8601T integrated graphics accelerator.
System memory is provided by three 168-pin DIMM sockets that accommodate SDRAM with a maximum capacity of 1.5GB.
The Award BIOS facilitates easy system configuration and peripheral setup. Expansion functionality is provided with MicroPCI socket that supports MicroPCI daughter cards for Ethernet (LAN), SCSI, and IEEE 1394 functions.
