VME PowerPlane, 400-800 watt dc-dc power supplyThe PowerPlane™ is a high-performance DC-DC power supply designed for mounting onto the back side of a VME computer backplane. By connecting directly to the existing power studs, the PowerPlane eliminates the large power cables required with conventional power supplies, saving assembly time and cost while improving dynamic response and load regulation. When combined with an AC-DC front end, the PowerPlane provides all power and control functions required by a VME chassis. It can be configured with either three or four output voltages for standard VME, VME 64, or any custom variation. The PowerPlane is available in two different sizes, standard and extended, to accommodate a variety of chassis widths.
