Product Features
The NAS4100 Disk Online Server is the first industrial standard
19" 1U rack mount Network Attached Storage (NAS) from IEI
incorporating Gigabit Ethernet technology. It comes with an Intel
Celeron CPU and 256MB of SDRAM to server the growing demand of
high performance and mission critical storage in the
technologically sensitive business/enterprise environment. The
NAS4100 offers hot-swappable HDD's and additional data protection
via RAID levels 0, 1, and 5. It also allows cross platform support
of Microsoft Networks (CIFS/SMB), Apple (File Transfer Protocol)
and Internet Web Browser to ensure file accessibility at both
local and remote levels. The on-board ultra SCSI expansion port
allows the connection of an additional SCSI device, such as tape
back-up for even better data protection.

Product application
A

NAS4100 offers maximum power in a compact design. The NAS4100 can also
work with direct tape backup applications via the SCSI interface to
perform a backup / restore function for crucial data. |
