Introduction
COMMELL, the worldwide leader of Industrial SBC, introduced the PICMG 1.3 platform FS-A70 based on Intel Q965 and ICH8DO Chipset , Support Intel Core 2 Duo / Core 2 Quad processor. PCIMG 1.3 specification replaces the PICMG 1.0 combination with PCI Express and PCI interface to the backplane. FS-A70 are designed to meet the needs of a wide variety of embedded computing applications while taking advantage of the speed and increased bandwidth of PCI Express.

The FS-A70 comes with floppy, PS/2 Keyboard and Mouse, 1x RS232/422/485 and 1x RS232, Networking is provided by Intel 2x 82573L PCI-Express Giga LAN, 6x USB2.0 ports, It offers support for High Definition Audio enables increased bandwidth for high quality audio and support for Dolby Technology. Also support for eSATA enables the full SATA interface speed up to 3GB/s, support for RAID 0,1,5, and 10 enables high reliablity for personal data, or maximum storage performance for intensive applications. Mini PCI slot is easily using any other add-on cards.
