Introduction
The FS-978 SBC (Single Board Computer) is an all-in-one industrial full-size PICMG (PCI/ISA)-bus CPU card based on the Intel latest Pentium 4 technology, features the 800 MHz FSB on CPU and dual channel DDR400 SDRAM, offers the 6.4 GBps of data transfer bandwidth on both of CPU host bus and system memory bus. With these features, the FS-978 offers the advanced computing capacity and performance for the industrial multiple PCI/ISA platforms and solutions.


In spite of the features of come from Intel Pentium 4 technology, the FS-978 also provides the other advantages to meet the fields of industrial applications. The mini-AGP interface offers the expansibility for multiple type of display, or 4x / 8xAGP VGA modules; the Intel PRO/1000 GbE interface offers the powerful network capacity; and the onboard dual channel Ultra160/320 SCSI interface also provides the all-in-one solution for the industrial PC applications.
