Introduction
The AP370VF/F is a full-size PICMG Single Board Computer (SBC) that is built on the Intel 440BX AGPset and accepts Intel Celeron Socket 370 PPGA processors up to 500MHz and higher. This gives you near Pentium II level performance with less heat build up and a lower cost.
The AP370VF has on-board S3 Trio LC2X 86C362 AGP-2X chip with 4MB video memory to provide resolutions up to 1600 x
1200 with 256 colors (up to 16.7M colors at lower resolutions). One special feature of the AP370VF/F is two DiskOnChip sockets that can support up to 288MB of SSD. The
AP370VF/F also has a 4-bit Digital Input/Output header. A watchdog timer provides a hardware IRQ at 7 different interval settings as well as a software IRQ with 16 different interval settings.
These models have many features to offer for a reasonable cost. Other on-board features include two PCI Enhanced IDE ports for up to four IDE or Ultra DMA-33 devices, two serial ports (one selectable RS-232/422/ 485), one multi-mode parallel port, two USB ports, one IrDA interface, and system health monitoring.
