DL2000: Freestanding Controllers

  
 

DL2000-KFX

 DF1 to DH+ or DF1 to DH+ bridge
Use in Standard (A-B DF1 to DH+) mode as an alternative to A-B's 1770-KF2, or
configure a pair of DL2000-KFX units in Bridging mode to enable DH+ to DH+ network
bridging and DH+ network bandwidth expansion.		  
 
 

DL2000-CMX

 Modbus to DH+
Interfaces serial devices and networks using Modbus protocol to DH+. Configurable for
Modbus Master or Modbus Slave in RTU or ASCII modes. Enables communications
between DH+ and Modbus Plus when combined with a Modicon BM85 Bridge Multiplexer.		  
 
 

DL2000-ASM

 Bi-directional ASCII to DH+
Facilitates data transfer from ASCII devices to all Allen-Bradley PLCs, including those with
no ASCII port, such as A-B’s ControlLogix. Or interface serial printers and message
displays to PLC5s over DH+.		  
 
 

DL2000-KFR

 DF1 to A-B Remote I/O Link or DH+
When configured in Adapter mode this unit provides a serial interface to Remote I/O for
MMIs and other devices. Can also be configured in Standard (A-B DF1 to DH+) mode to
provide a serial interface to DH+.		  
 
 

DL2000-K2F

 2 serial DF1 ports to DH+
Provides two serial interfaces to a single DH+ for devices such as PCs, OEM equipment,
Modems and HMIs. Uses Standard (A-B DF1 to DH+) protocol and is comparable to two
DL2000-KFXs or two A-B 1770-KF2s in one enclosure.		  
 
 

DL2000-KXM

 Half-duplex master to DH+
Half-duplex serial master that interfaces slave serial devices using A-B DF1 half-duplex
slave (multi-drop) protocol to A-B DH+ networks.		  
 
 
  DL2000 Units
DL2000 controllers are AC-powered products that provide freestanding interfaces to DH+,
RIO and Modbus industrial networks for Computers, Modems, MMIs, OEM equipment and
variable speed drives. Typical applications include Operator Interfaces, PLC programming,
remote communications via modems, and SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data
Acquisition).

Device Compatibility
All DataLink DL2000 products use an industry standard Allen-Bradley DF1 (A-B DF1)
protocol driver and will work with most products (software and hardware) which use this
protocol. Please see our application notes or contact us to find out if the DL2000 is suitable
for your application.
