ADTRAN established its reputation as a leader in digital transport technology in the 1980s with DDS transmission products such as the OCU DP, DDS Repeater, and DDST. DDS products are now available with Total Reach technologies and performance monitoring (PM) capabilities. Both represent a significant advancement in functionality to DDS, helping reduce deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting time. The Total Reach family of products uses ADTRAN's Simple Coded Pulse Amplitude Modulation (SC PAM®) to extend digital services over one twisted pair of copper wires.
