Data Entry Clerk

Overview

The Data Entry position is responsible for contributing to and updating product data in the extensive Vox Technologies product database. They will be tasked with sourcing datasheets, manuals, and images, attaching those files to a product page, then pulling the specifications and overview out of those documents and adding them to the textual content of the product page. They will also be updating alias part numbers and related products, working with our technicians to list compatible replacements, advising with the Marketing Director/SEO Specialist on SEO-friendly verbiage & content, etc.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in reading and writing, utilizing the English language
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills such as copy/paste, text-based editors and general text formatting
  • Proficiency in mining data online via web search engines, such as Google
  • High level of accuracy, diligence and attention to detail when managing large amounts of information
  • Ability to adhere to time sensitive projects and deadlines through efficient organizational skills
  • Ability to adhere to processes and guidelines that ensures proper data entry and effectiveness of product data
  • Strong drive to succeed, personally and for Vox Technologies

Compensation

Compensation will be based on experience.
