The PCK500 Rackmount chassis is a rugged
19-inch 4U case in plated steel. It can be integrated with a 14-
or sub-14-slot backplane. PS/2 type 300W or 250W redundant power
supply is used. It is designed to incorporate the high-end "Nexcare"
fault detecting monitor system that can be remotely controlled
through modem or LAN for power voltage failure, fan failure and
overheating inside the chassis.
Construction
- electroplated zinc main steel frame.
Disk drive bays
- front accessible two 5.25", one 3.5" and one
internal 3.5" device bay with grounding system and
anti-vibration mounting.

Cooling system
- One 12cm ball bearing fan (108CFM) and removable air filter
at front panel (flow in). Airflow can flow out of the chassis
through the airing hole at the rear side panel and the fan of
power supply. 12cm fan can up to 2 sets (option).
Hold-down clamp
- Flexible hold-down bar can fix the plug-in cards.
Front panel indicators
- Standard: HDD LED indicator, power on/off LED indicator.
- Option: The monitor of power supply LED for +/-12V, +/-5V
+3.3V and 5Vstandby, Fan status monitor LED, HDD status
monitor LED, four set temperature status monitor LEDs. (It is
option and incorporates with "Nexcare")
Front panel switches
- power reset switch, Power ON/OFF switch.
Keyboard connector
- AT keyboard connector at front panel.
