ATLAS 800 SERIES MODULE

The Modem-16 Module is a high-capacity card for the ATLAS 800/800PLUS Integrated Access System, capable of simultaneously processing 16 V.90 modem calls and 16 ISDN B-channel calls.

Modem or ISDN calls are presented to ATLAS 800/800PLUS via one or more Primary Rate ISDN (PRI), Basic Rate ISDN (BRI), or T1 circuits. The Modem-16 Module combines with the Async-232 Module to enable dial-up access for up to forty-eight users in a single chassis.

The Modem-16 Module can be configured through a variety of mechanisms, including Telnet or VT100 emulation. SNMP management is supported for alarm and event reporting.

The Modem-16 Module expands ATLAS 800/800PLUS to integrate remote access with the dedicated bandwidth management and switched access functions already supported.
