Total Access® System
Total Access®
ADTRAN's Total Access® system consists of space- and cost-saving
carrier class, multiservice access platforms, integrated access
devices (IADs), and concentrators. Designed for networks of any size,
Total Access® components can be used separately or together to
provide comprehensive voice and data access. With the industry's
smallest form factor and a modular, scalable design, Total Access®
lets you "grow as you go", so your investment is secure as
technologies evolve. All this makes Total Access® the best value for
integrated network access - from the CO to the customer premises.

Total
Access® GR-303 Concentrator
Total Access® 4303 (TA 4303) is a modular, full-featured platform
designed to support several functions associated with GR-303
concentration. TA 4303 is capable of terminating up to 128 T1s
(DSX-1 format) with the flexibility to assign any T1 as input from
the switch or as a concentrated output to the user. TA 4303 also
provides connectivity for up to four DS3 interfaces, providing
additional flexibility for connection to the switch or to the
network. The unit uses full Digital Cross Connect functionality,
allowing the separation of non-concentrated data circuits from
concentrated voice circuits for mixed-mode applications.

Total Access® Broadband
Access Platform
The Total Access® 3000 is an open-architecture mulitservice
access platform for deploying present and future loop technologies
from TDM, Frame Relay, or ATM Backbone infrastructures. It can
serve as an Office Repeater Bay (ORB), a DS3 mulitplexer, and
STS-1 or OC3 SONET mulitplexer, and an ISDN DLC or DSLAM. It is
the only chassis that can simultaneously support multiplexed (DS3
or SONET) and DSX-1 network interfaces.

Total Access® Narrowband
Access Platform
A small, extremely versatile platform, Total Access® 1500
integrates the functionality of many carrier products into a
single high-density chassis. Total Access® 1500 can be used as a
small Digital Loop Carrier (DLC) or as a Special Services delivery
system. Total Access® 1500's small footprint (2U-high mounting)
makes it the perfect choice for integrated communications
providers who need to deploy services from crowded remote
terminals, central offices, or co-location facilities. Up to five
times as dense as a D4 in CO applications, Total Access® 1500
greatly reduces the amount of CO space needed to deploy special
services. This system is easy to provision and manage, offers
flexible service options, and boasts a low cost per port.

Total Access® Modular
Integrated Access Device
Total Access® 850 is a integrated access device with features for
advances voice and data services as well as VoDSL. Total Access®
850 benefits every service provider (CLEC, ILEC, or ISP) by
providing cost-effective, industry-compatible solutions for TDM or
ATM network infrastructures.
In addition to providing a platform for analog voice support,
Total Access® 850 has a built-in IP router, management, and a
migration path to ATM. Service providers can deploy Total Access®
850 and, using inband management, turn features, functions, and
access ports on or off based on customer requirements.

Total Access® Modular
Integrated Access Device
Total Access® 750 is a integrated access device with features for
advances voice and data services. Total Access® 750 benefits
every service provider (CLEC, ILEC, or ISP) by providing
cost-effective, industry-compatible solutions for TDM or ATM
network infrastructures.
Total Access® 750 allows cost-effective deployment of TDM
voice and data at the customer premises. Combining voice and data
traffic over a single T1 terminating at the end-user's site, Total
Access® 750 is an ideal solution for small- to medium- business
applications. Total Access® 750 supports a broad service offering
including analog voice, NxData, Fractional T1 (DSX-1), ISDN, and
DDS.

Total Access® Fixed-port
Integrated Access Device
Total Access® 604 and 608 are two fixed port VoDSL integrated
access devices. Total Access® 604 provides four fixed analog POTS
ports, while the Total Access® 608 provides eight fixed analog
POTS ports. These analog interfaces support the stringent design
and full feature set required by today's carriers. These IADs
benefit every service provider including CLECs, ILECs, or ISPs by
providing cost-effective, industry-compatible solutions for ATM
network infrastructures. In addition to providing a platform for
analog voice support, Total Access® 604 and 608 also have an
integral IP router, management, and Assured DialtoneTM with
Lifeline POTS.
