The Smartio family uses the smart TI550C I/O Controller, which
has on-chip hardware flow control to guarantee no data loss, even
at higher transmission speeds.
High Reliability
The Smartio family uses state-of-the-art ASIC (Application Specific
Integrated Circuit) Technology, specially designed for multiport
serial communications, greatly reducing the number of traditional
ICs that are required, and decreasing the repair rate.
Compact Size
The Smartio family adapts SMD half-size board design to suit
virtually any PC cabinet.
Easy Installation
The Smartio family is available with either PCI or ISA bus interface.
Both are designed without switches or jumpers, meaning that all
configuration is done automatically by software, making the installation
