EBC Series LCD Solution
Configuration 1:
EBC563 Graphic controller can provide the PanelLink solution via a NEXCOM
EBKMedia1 Module, which convert the digital video signals to support
high-resolution LCD Panel. With the DVI interface, the standard Digital
Visual Interface can support TMDS Panel without any trouble for the Cable.
There are three type resolution mode for selection on the EBC563 as 640 x
480, 800 x600, 1024x 768.
Configuration 2:
EBC562/552 and EBC360P are droved by the C&T 69000 ( 2MB on die Memory )
or C&T 69030 ( 4MB on die Memory ) graphic controller, which can directly
support the TTL LCD Panel. The C&T series VGA chip is dedicated for the LCD
Panel solution and provides the most compatible Panel connection.
Configuration 3:
Follow the configuration 2, if the customer needs a long distance
connection for the LCD Panel, the EBKLVDS module can extend the cable to
support the LVDS interface LCD Panel for the EBCmodel EBC562, EBC552.
The EBC363 and EBC569 use the VIA TwisterT Chipset that already include the
LVDS interface to support the high resolution and long distance Panel
Solution.
Configuration 4:
For those who already have the TTL LCD and want to extend the Cable
Distance, the solution is adding an EBKLVDSRX module to convert the digital
data from EBL LVDS to TTL LCD Panel. EBC562/552 and most of NEXCOM PEAK
series board ( PEAK 6320, 635, 632, 6720, 660, 6620 ) can provide this kind
of solution.
For the EBC563 and EBC363 also can support it directly by the EBKLVDSRX
module.
