EBX
The "Embedded Board, Expandable" standard specifies the
location of interfaces and connectors on a small 5.75" x 8"
footprint. The EBX form factor is small enough for many embedded
applications while large enough to pack system, I/O, storage,
video, audio & network functions and a PC/104-Plus (PCI/ISA)
expansion bus for more expansion options.

PC/104 SBC &
Module
For embedded applications
with limited space, the PC/104 specification places teh ISA bus
on compact 3.6" x 3.8" (90mm x 96mm) module. The PC/104
specification with self-stacking capability does not require
backplanes or card cages to operate. Component count and power
comsumption is greately minimized as a result of the lower bus
driving requirements.
