AMD Announces A-Series processors and HD 7000 Series Graphics

AMD recently announced that its second-generation AMD A-Series processors are now available. Ideal for DIY PC builders and desktop applications these affordable processors are ideal for many applications. AMD also announced new APU's, including the AMD Radeon 7000 Series graphics.

AMD Partners with San Francisco Giants

AMD recently announced that Major League Baseball's San Francisco Giants had chosen AMD as a technology partner. At AT&T Park the Giants use AMD technology to allow fans to vote for which players should be in the starting lineup.

AMD Updates APU's for Notebooks, Ultrathins and More

AMD recently updated it's Accelerated Processing Units for ultrathin and value notebooks, among others. Some of the updated features include enhanced abilities in HD graphics and performance boosts. AMD has shipped more than 12 millions APU's and in Q2 of 2011 they sold over 5 million of the C and E-series APU's.
