ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Responsible for the company’s web developmental needs.
• Maintaining and enhancing existing app code
• Developing new modules on applications as per functional specifications.
• Developing functional and fast-responsive web applications, using markup languages.
• Collaborating with developers, designers, sys admins, and customers – Tailor web solutions to their needs and requirements.
• Developing reusable code while fulfilling front and back-end requirements.
• Employs the latest technology in order to re-build legacy apps.
• Fix bugs when necessary and improve usability by optimizing apps speed/performance.
• Performs training and support activities.
• Writes comprehensive manuals, guides, and documents.
• Compiles quality prototypes and mockups.
• Stays consistent with company brand.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Contribute new ideas to improve current processes. Assists with other tasks and special projects needed.

EXPERIENCE AND BACKGROUND:

2+ years of experience in full-stack web application design and development with skills below:

• Candidates possess a strong work ethic, positive mental attitude, motivation, and ability to work independently.
• Highly experienced with back-end programming languages {{Ex: PHP, Python, Ruby, Java, .NET, JavaScript etc}}
• Proficiency in Database technologies like MySQL, Microsoft SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Experience with API design/development and usage of push notifications.
• Knowledge of code versioning tools {{such as Git, Mercurial or SVN}}.
• Proficiency in web server technologies like Node.js, J2EE, Apache, Nginx, IIS, etc. (Emphasis on Apache and Node.js).
• Preferred: B.Sc in Computer Science.
• Proficiency in Linux OS and basic knowledge of Windows and Unix.
• Proficiency in Big Data Management.
• The ability to apply knowledge and experience towards learning/teaching new or different technologies quickly.
• Proficient knowledge of SEO standards.
• Proficient experience using {{Ex: advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as AngularJS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, ReactJS, DurandalJS etc.}}.
• Utilizes strong analytical, logic, and research skills to gather facts and make decisions.
• Development experience for both mobile and desktop environments.
• Understanding and implementation of security and data protection.
